Birth and End of Life Planning Doula
I have supported family members in both birth and death plans. My primary goal is to help my client and the family plan their birth or end of life as they see it looking and to be their to see it through. It is also pertinent for my client to feel safe and comfortable. My training provides continuous, one-on-one care, as well as information, physical support, and emotional support to my clients, their partners and family members.
It is a true gift and honor to be present for both time periods of life.
Birthing Planning Doula:
“A doula focused on birth is also known as a birth companion, birth coach or post-birth supporter, by providing continuous care before, during, and or after in the form of information, advocacy, physical support, and emotional support.”
Each time we meet for a prenatal massage we will share extra time together to prepare you for what is expected before, during, and after your pregnancy.
During delivery, I will be there for the pregnant mother and partner to offer comfort and support as needed…
Massage is included during labor and will be provided during delivery for mom to bring comfort and relieve pain as needed in back, legs, neck, and shoulders. Also, for your partner…those shoulders can get pretty tense during delivery.
Post-delivery I will be there to continue supporting you as needed. You and your partner will learn how to give your new baby massages that will bring so many benefits.

End of Life Doula:
A death midwife, or death doula, who is a nonmedical companion to the dying and their families who assists in the dying process, much like a midwife or doula does with the birthing process. It is often a community-based role of several people, aiming to help families cope with death through recognizing it as a natural and important part of life. Creating a plan that the person desires. This combined with gentle touch massage are so helpful. The health benefits of geriatric massage are profound. It improves circulation, joint flexibility, muscle tone and strength, overall peace and comfort, and the quality of sleep. Massage for elders also reduces pain and swelling, and lowers blood pressure, while decreasing stress, fear, and anxiety.
We share time together during visits to prepare for what is expected before, during, and after crossing over. We will create a plan that suits your desires and I will be the one to facilitate that plan.
When the time comes I will be with the client as needed to bring comfort and ease while following his or her end of life plan.
For the partner and or the family member…I will be there to answer any questions, offer guidance, comfort, and ease allowing them the proper space to grieve and be present.
